 One
of the stars in late 80's was Mercedes 500SL. It replaced the 20 years
old predecessor in 1989 and is now 8 years old. However, not only still
looks young, it is still the one of the best luxurious coupes in today.
One can see how advanced it was. Sophisticated styling, highest build quality, great-looking and sitting cabin, safety features (e.g. pop-up roll cage), powerful engine, excellent performance, good handling and ride made up to its success in both the sales and in winning our heart. 500SL, or SL500 in Mercedes' new naming system, is very expensive, but it worth every penny.
